Mountain Peak Life

Foot Care
FeetWhy: Regular foot care is essential to the mobility and overall health at all stages of life. As we age, it can become difficult to reach our feet and properly care for thickened toenails, bunions, and other signs of distress or decreased health.

Who & What: Our foot care nurse Debbie Neal, RN, CFCN, works magic on our feet. She examines feet for medical concerns, trims toenails, cares for bunions and other ailments, and massages the feet for improved circulation. All of her clients rate her highly for her kindness and care.

When & Where: Our foot clinic is offered once a month, usually on the first Monday of the month. It is located in in downtown Nederland, we will povide the address to those who sign up. The next scheduled date appears on our calendar.

How: We schedule appointments throughout the month for that month's schedule. Appointments are 45 minutes. Please sign up at lunch or call the Nederland Area Seniors office in advance (303-258-0799) or Nurse Debbie Neal (303-258-7768) with your request for an appointment and state the time of day you prefer–morning or afternoon.

Cost: At this time no grant is available for funding assistance. Debbie Neal's standard rate is $40 per session, but she is currently offering a 25% discount to mountain seniors.
