NEDERLAND AREA SENIORS Congregate Meals and Pancake Breakfast Cancelled

Boulder County Public Health released early data suggesting older people are twice as likely to have serious COVID-19 illness.

NAS is saddened to announce we will be cancelling our annual pancake fundraiser during FDGD weekend (3/14 & 3/15), due to the undeniable risk congregate meals brings to our older adult community members, and in support of the CDC who suggest older adults should ‘stay at home as much as possible’ amid the coronavirus outbreak.

As well, we will be cancelling our weekly congregate lunches beginning this week (3/9) and until further notice.

Please take note: We are prepared to deliver meals to any isolated older adult (60+) living in the mountain region between Jamestown and Central City.

Contact us if you or someone you know is 60+, home bound, and in need of food.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and wish our community a healthy and safe FDGD weekend.
