Donation:  $5 is suggested per meal. No one 60+ years old will ever be denied a meal due to the inability to contribute financially.
When: Deliveries are scheduled once per week, Monday or Wednesday.  Special delivery options can be available on a case-by-case basis.
What to expect at delivery:  Volunteer drivers & NAS staff deliver meals. All drivers have had background screenings, as required by Boulder County Area Agency on Aging.  Your driver will knock on your door and wait for you to answer before leaving.
Each meal includes: Vegetable & fruit, whole grain bread, and protein (fish, chicken, beans, pork). Meals:  All meals are catered by Word of Mouth Catering in Boulder, whose nutritious meals are approved by Boulder County to serve our senior community.  They serve Lyons, Longmont, Louisville and other Boulder County programs.  *Click here for the nutritional analyses of the frozen meals we may offer.

How many meals: Number of meals available each week are based on client needs & current program funding. The meals are delivered frozen in microwavable, reusable & dishwasher safe plastic containers.

Funding source:  Nederland Area Seniors is a non-profit organization that relies on volunteers and donations to provide community programming.  This meal delivery program is funded through Boulder County Area Agency on Aging and the generosity of business and individual donations.
